Summer Field Trips to Utah, Pirate’s Cove and More!

We had so much fun the summer of 2015. First, we explored the Discovery Center Museum.

We got to visit Utah to see Grandma and Grandpa Reid.

I had picnics with friends.

I played games with my family. Here I am playing UNO, which helps me learn colors and numbers.

We went to Pirate’s Cove, which is a very fun amusement park. I lost my CTR ring, so I was very sad at first.

And we had picnics in our own backyard, too.

All About Families

I like to talk about my family.

I love pretending to be Mommy to my dolly, Jenna.

I’m excited to learn that I’m going to have a baby sister in the fall! We got pink balloons because the baby is a girl. (May 2015)

Here I am in my new bedroom with my big brother. I helped put together the bunk bed. I get the bottom bunk. (May 2015)

Learning in the Spring

I love playing outside, so springtime is a lot of fun.

I learned about wind power when I got a cool wind mill toy from Daddy.

I practiced balancing too.

Christmas with Cousins

Me and my cousins acted out the story of the Nativity.

I also had the chance to visit the Christus Statue in Salt Lake City. I am with my Fosdick cousins!

Christmas morning was also a lot of fun with my Utah grandparents.

A Dalmatian and a Firefighter

I was Dalmatian for Halloween. I fit right in with my big brother, who was her firefighter.

Starting Early At-Home Preschool

On the first day of each school year, we walk up to Colonial Cafe for Ice Cream! This year it meant the start of my 2 year old preschool!

August means we still take lots of learning field trips. Here me and Paul are playing in a rail car at the Train Museum.

I love playing with Play Doh.

We started learning about the letters of the alphabet. Here is the crown I colored for the letter A.

We practiced “writing” with Monster postcards and a mail box. This was such fun imagination play for me.

I couldn’t wait to start gymnastics. The first day I even cried when it was time to go.

I loved learning about ducks. I glued together a duck. We wrote a fact we’d learned on the lines. I say a baby duck is a duckling.

I love playing with the rubber duckies….both by counting them with these mats but also in the bathtub!

After we read a fun picture book about 10 rubber duckies, I sorted the items…which ones belonged in the ocean, and which ones belonged in the bathtub?

I work on puzzles with others helping!

More Play Doh! It’s always best when we make it an imagination play time. I am pretending to go apple picking.
