A friend gave us a recipe for “Wacky Cake,” which required mixing the ingredients with our hands. I loved getting messy while cooking! June 2015
We found a feather on the ground one day so I practice painting with it. We talked about how in the old days, people used feathers for making quill pens. July 2015

The Spooky Old Tree Game
We developed a game that I simply love! It’s the “Spooky Old Tree” game. First we read The Spooky Old Tree by Stan and Jan Berenstain. In the book, the narrator asked if the three bears dared. So we asked ourselves if we dared!
To go up the stairs
To climb under the chair
To climb over the Great Sleeping Bear
Obviously, this last one was the most fun!
Matching ABCs
I am learning the alphabet! This activity requires me to match uppercase letters with lowercase letters. It’s still a bit hard for me to do this but it’s a fun start to learning!
