I love princesses and I love building with LEGO bricks, so we’re trying something new for school: Princess School! We’re starting with Rapunzel, and we’re going to engineer a tower for her out of big blocks.
I also practiced retelling the story.

I am doing kindergarten word sorts, even though I’m (age-wise) still in preschool. Check out my progress.
Today I am making “Trains” of matching lengths using the centimeter rods. It is great beginning math practice because I find which rod color combinations add up to the different rod sizes. I started to catch on that the rods each have different “number” values. I say, “I’m really good at this!”
I wanted to practice writing so I solved these Valentine’s Day codes.
We also wanted to play and practice writing in the snow, but we didn’t get much snow! So we made our own.
I drew this in Primary class.

We play with centimeter rods to get used to them. Soon we’ll be learning more about numbers and adding with them.

We learned a lot about the human body. We colored the organs inside of a paper Me!
I remembered how much I liked doing the Christmas Number Hop last year so of course I had to do it again! This time finding the numbers was much easier. It’s amazing how much I’ve grown in just one year!
