I was so excited to see our Little People Nativity set, so I decided to tell us the Christmas Story!

For preschool one day, we read a very silly story about a skeleton. We then made our own skeleton out of q-tips!

I love making the skeleton so much that I wanted to make another one….this time for a monster!

First we read a silly book about a lazy bear and a clever rabbit. The rabbit grew vegetables and tricked the bear out of them because some vegetables only grew under ground and some grew above ground.

We learned which vegetables grew each place.

We practiced counting.

Then we played with vegetable puppets.

Me (and even Paul!) loved pretending that the cucumber and tomato were from Veggie Tales!

So much fun!!

My First Story: The Snow Family

Once there was a family called the Snow family. They loved to play in the snow. They liked to make snow angels. But one day it turned into summer and they wanted it to be snowy again!

So one of them suggested that they make a snow globe and get small and go in it.

Lou-go, the baby who could talk, said, “But the snow won’t just stay on the ground!”

So instead they all jumped in to their snow beds and waited for it to snow again. When there was snow, they went outside. They kept jumping into their beds when there wasn’t snow. So every spring and summer and fall they slept. Then they woke up in winter.

Here I am describing the story to you all!
